Well-Seasoned Decor
You’ve probably taken down the Christmas decor, but the magic and charm of the holidays can remain through seasonally appropriate decor. Carefully consider your artwork, lighting, and foliage to create a warm ambiance in winter, or cool appeal in scorching temperatures! Source: BobVila
Organize the Everyday
One of the most useful ways to refresh your home for the new year is to make your functional, everyday items more organized and beautiful. A dramatic improvement can be as quick and easy as corralling necessities in an attractive cart or basket! Towels, cosmetic bags and essentials are all organized on the cart and ready to use. Rearrange your Existing Furniture
No budget? No problem! Work with pieces you already have and rearrange them to create a new look. This will cost you nothing and will reinvigorate a room. Source: NicoleGibbonsStyle
Natural Elements
Organic materials are bringing nature indoors. “It’s all about nature-inspired and eco-friendly materials and designs,” says designer Lori Gilder. “It’s no longer a trend, but more of a philosophy in the evolution of design. Bamboo, matchstick blinds and natural woven shades layered with simple sheer linen panels create an elegant yet earthy sophistication in any space.” Source: HGTV
New Year, New Look
Think about giving your home a budget-friendly makeover in January by investing in timeless pieces such as wooden dining tables, neutral sofas and metal bed frames which are easily adaptable for any style. If you find an accent item that’s a bit wacky and wild but you absolute love it, treat yourself and use it as a new focal point to revitalize your space. A bold injection of color is a sure-fire way to give your home a facelift and start your year off in a bright and cheery way. Source: Wayfair

Combinations of natural materials to create something new and exciting
Well, first – keep in mind that 2017 is going to be marked by the return to the organic to the natural and the unalterable search of new and functional. So when it comes to a bathroom design the direction will be: super clean colors, seamless lines and practical and simple arrangement of spaces but with the dash of organic coziness and elegance. So let your imagination and creativity flow and turn the functionality of the bathroom into a play of art – a contemporary creation of style. Here are some directions that may help. Look on the bright side
Brighten up your bath with improved lighting. Side lights, like those shown here, will illuminate your vanity tasks better than bath bars above the mirror. Adding natural light with skylights and windows is great for your bathroom (and your psyche). Toe-kick lighting can serve as night light.

Get it super clean
Like, use all the tricks in the book to make your floor and tile grout look like the day it was installed. Shine your stainless steel with abandon. Wash the walls if you can’t paint. Cut the grime on the door, door knobs and light switches. Don’t forget the baseboards. Use scrubbing power and the best cleaning tips to clean spots and stains you didn’t think were powerful. It’ll feel like an almost brand new space! Source: ApartmentTherapy

3 Design Tips to Make A Small Bathroom Better
Content originally published and Shared from http://perfectbath.com
Get inspired to make some bathroom renovations with these 3 design tips on how to make a small bathroom better, such as: installing a corner sink, skipping the shower door and extending the counter.

Installing a Corner Sink
Sometimes even a pedestal sink can disrupt the only available traffic lane in a bathroom.
In this case placing a corner sink across from the toilet works better than a sink across from the shower. The opening and closing of the shower door usually creates an awkward walk-around condition. Source: Houzz
Skipping the Shower Door
If your bathroom is about 5 feet wide, that’s just enough space to squeeze in a toilet and a 30- by 60-inch tub. With tight conditions such as these, consider a glass panel instead of a glass shower door. It will keep most of the water in the shower and will free up needed elbow room. Source: Forbes
Extending the Counter
You can extend your counter all the way around the toilet to add both comfort and space. An arrangement like that can be made with the addition of wood or stone, as this will create extra space you can use to place your items around. The placement of the toilet will not be altered, so the look will still have clean elements and a minimalistic approach. You can clean the space with relative ease, making bathroom cleaning less of a chore. Tile cleaning and floor cleaning can be a bit challenging due to the smaller space, but with the right cleaning tools, you should have little trouble. Source: ImproveNet
