Hello high schoolers, just a friendly reminder from Roots and Shoots that today is the UN’s official international day of peace. Every year on this date, people around the world give their time and effort to promote different facets of world peace, with this year’s focus being on sustainable development.
As recognition of this occasion, R&S is holding a shaved ice sale and bake sale today during lunch in the cafeteria to raise money for the Love and Hope center. All proceeds will go towards equipping underprivileged youth with the skills they need to help build a sustainable China.
