Amnesty International Club

If you heard Mr. Dalglish speak at the My Freedom Day assembly, you’ve probably heard of the organization Amnesty International. Amnesty is a global human rights organization of more than 7 million people who take injustice seriously. They campaign for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all. You’ll be glad to know that we are opening an Amnesty International Club at ISB! From freeing a wrongfully imprisoned activist in Myanmar to implementing mandatory education in Ecuador, this club will help people in need by donating funds, raising awareness, signing petitions, and many other ways of active participation. If you’re even remotely interested in our cause, please come to a brief and non-commitment meeting in the library room (1226) on Tuesday, April 10th from 3:30-4:30.

We are very flexible with timing and we welcome everyone. If you can’t make it on April 10th but would like to learn more about Amnesty International, feel free to email Andrew Lu or Emily Lan.
